Basis and Timing of Offers of Admission

In spring 2007, the University of Ontario Institute of Technology will begin to issue conditional offers of admission for the fall session. Once applicants have completed all program prerequisites and satisfied the requirements for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), final grades will be forwarded to the Registrar's office by the OUAC and these offers will be finalized.

Basic admission requirements include the successful completion of at least six 4U or 4M courses (or equivalents), including 4U English (ENG4U), and a minimum overall average of 70% (unless otherwise specified). In addition to these basic requirements, students must successfully complete all program-related prerequisite courses. These are listed in the table below.

Repeated Courses: The highest grade will be considered in the admission average for applicants who have repeated 4U or 4M courses.

Pending Ministry Approval: At the time of publication, some programs and specializations were pending Ministry approval. Visit our website for program updates.

UOIT offers unique specializations within each program that may be selected after the completion of first year studies. Please visit www.uoit.ca for a full list of available specializations.
