While grades are important, universities also offer many scholarships based on financial need, community involvement and school leadership. Make sure you perform several searches to find all of the scholarships available to you.

If you are not enrolled in an Ontario secondary school: Many universities offer scholarships specifically to students applying from outside Ontario and from outside Canada, as well as upper-year and mature students. These scholarships are not listed on eINFO - please contact the universities directly for further information.

National Scholarships Approximately 10 from applicants to all U of T campuses

Tuition (x four years); residence support in first year plus a varying, renewable cash award.

Open to applicants to any U of T campus. Based on academic excellence coupled with creativity, intellectual enthusiasm, and school or community involvement.

President's Entrance Scholarship Program Varies

All applicants who meet the following criteria will receive admission scholarship(s) from the University, its faculties or colleges totaling at least $2,000 provided that they enrol in first year at U of T in the fall. Students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents; studying at a secondary school or CEGEP in Canada; have completed each of the courses required for admissions, including prerequisites, with "A" standing; and whose admission average is 92% or better.
