Notice of Collection, Use, Disclosure and Treatment of Personal Information Provided in the OUAC Account Section of the OUAC’s eINFO Website

The Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) was created by the universities in Ontario through the Council of Ontario Universities (COU). The OUAC has been processing applications on behalf of universities in Ontario since 1971. The eINFO website is produced on behalf of the Ontario universities under the direction of the INFO Editorial Board.

The personal information requested on eINFO is required in order for you to save your selected searches of university programs. Your email address will be used as your login identification for the site and to assist you in resetting your password. The OUAC may use your data to create aggregate, non-personally identifiable information for site usage and geographical research purposes.

Login information and saved searches will be maintained while the site is active for the current application cycle. At the end of the current cycle, all login information and saved searches will be purged.

The OUAC is committed to protecting your privacy in relation to the personal information you provide. The OUAC maintains administrative, technical and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of your personal information. The OUAC stores electronic records off-site as part of its disaster recovery procedures. You are solely responsible for keeping all your login information confidential and secure. Please notify the OUAC immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access, use or disclosure.
